Aja Ekadashi is all about the Ekadashi observed at the time of Krishnna Paksha (the dark fortnight of Moon) in the Hindu month of ‘Bhadrapada’. This Ekadashi is also called ‘Ananda Ekadashi’.
In North India, Aja Ekadashi is observed in the Hindu month of ‘Bhadrapada’ and in other regions it is observed in the month of ‘Shravana’. Aja Ekadashi is purely dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
