MARGASHIRSHA AMAVASYA SIGNIFICANCE
Margashirsha or Agrahayana is the Hindu month that holds immense religious and spiritual significance. As per Gregorian Calendar, this month falls in November -December. This religious month is named after the Nakshatra Mrigashirsha and is deeply dedicated to Lord Krishna.
Margashirsha Amavasya is a day of ardent devotion and reverence. On this day, devotees pay their respect to the ancestors apart from worshipping Lord Krishna.
