The whole concept of festivals in Hindu Mythology signifies victory of good over evil, Choti Diwali or Narak Chaturdashi also represents this concept. A day prior to this day, Lord Krishna smeared his forehead with the blood of Narkasaur, the demon who was killed by Satyabhama, one of the eight prominent queen of Lord Krishna. Her chariot was driven by the Lord himself and as a mark of victory and celebration applied Narkasur’s blood on his forehead.
